Gentle Giants is a wildcrafted tree resin balm made with Douglas fir, white spruce, and lodgepole pine resins. Infused into five organic plant oils and blended with local beeswax, this rich resin salve helps soften dry, rough skin and seal in moisture.

Resins we forage in the Cascade Mountains

We forage these resins ourselves in the Cascade Mountains, using ethical wildcrafting practices that do not harm the trees. From gathering resin in the forest to infusing it into our oils, we work directly with the ingredients that give this balm its distinctive character.

The tradition of tree resin salves

Working with aromatic tree resins is part of many herbal traditions, including Indigenous traditions in North America and folk practices in northern Europe.

Gentle Giants is our own formulation within this broader tradition of resin-based care. The resins are central to the balm—not simply a scent added at the end.

Texture & scent

Thick, rich, and made to linger, this balm leaves a substantial layer rather than the light finish of a body oil. A small amount goes a long way.

Its naturally resinous scent brings together pine, soft amber, and bright citrus notes.

How to use

Warm a small amount between clean fingertips, then massage onto clean, intact skin. Start sparingly and add more as needed.
