What is a Hydrosol?

When fresh plants are slowly distilled, their water-soluble aromatic compounds travel with steam into the condenser, emerging as a lightly acidic botanical water infused with the plant’s unique aromatic “signature.” Unlike essential oils, hydrosols are gentle, balanced, and ready to use directly on skin, hair, and surroundings — perfect for a hydrating face mist or natural toner.
