Hidrosoles

Hydrosols are botanical waters collected through distillation. Used like a toner, facial mist, hair refresher, or aromatic spray, a true hydrosol is not fragrance added to water. It is the water-based side of distillation: soft, cooling, lightly moistening, and carrying the aromatic presence of the plant.

At Deschampsia, we distill our own hydrosols in small batches using fresh plant material we forage, grow, or source from local small farmers. Use after cleansing, before facial oil or balm, throughout the day, in masks, on hair, linens, rooms, altars, or personal ritual.
