The word “Copal” means “incense” and has its origins in the indigenous Nahuatl languages of Mesoamerica. For centuries, aromatic tree resins from this region have been used as an offering to the gods- in prayer, protection, medicine, and ritual practice. Similar to other tree resins, it has also been used to help restore and heal skin.
Our wildcrafted Copal hydrosol is distilled in-house and is wild foraged and sustainably sourced directly from Mexico. We do not use Indonesian sourced Copal as is commonly found on the market. As far as we know we are the only source of authentic Copal Hydrosol out there.
Aroma: Citrusy, resinous/balsamic, dry earth
May be used as an aromatic spray, as a balancing skin/hair toner, body spray, and is well suited for meditative and energetic crafts.
