When our farmers markets & street fairs (which had sustained and supported our little apothecary over the past few years) closed down in late March, we were fortunate to be able to continue our business online with the support of awesome folks (like you) who kept us going despite all of our fears.
We've been through a lot together in the past few months: viruses, economic transformation, government lockdowns, and social unrest. One of the big reasons why we've been quiet on our mailing list, blog, and social media recently is because we want to make space for other voices to be heard. This time around, I would like us to dive a little deeper into the ingredients, sourcing, practices, and philosophies which make Deschampsia special.
We highly recommend everyone to take the time to look at the ingredients found in your skin care and self care products. Ask yourself, how many of these ingredients are you familiar with? Even products marketed as “natural” may be filled with not-so-natural ingredients.
